Activity booking, in plain English
Browse what's happening today, this week or next month. Tap once to reserve a seat — large type, real-time availability, no jargon, no fuss.
ElderNest turns vacant offices into warm, walkable community centres designed around older adults — with on-demand activities, gentle wellness check-ins, and the dignity of just showing up.
9,200+ members across 14 centres — and the local newspaper called us “quietly revolutionary.”
How it works · in three small steps
Search by neighbourhood, bus line, or by what's nearby (library, pharmacy, café). Most members live a fifteen-minute walk away.
Yoga, lunch, memoir circle, a quiet reading corner. Browse a clear weekly grid and tap once to reserve.
Front desk has your name. The teacher saved your seat. Wellness check-ins are gentle, never clinical.
What we offer
Every part of the ElderNest platform is built around how older adults actually live — large type, real humans on the phone, and tools that quietly look after the boring parts.
Browse what's happening today, this week or next month. Tap once to reserve a seat — large type, real-time availability, no jargon, no fuss.
Each member has a gentle account: favourite activities, dietary notes, who to call, and an emergency contact. Family can be added with one invitation.
Centre managers see today at a glance — attendance, room turnovers, dietary trays. Roster a class in minutes; print a sign-in sheet for the front desk.
Staff can send a soft nudge before chair-yoga, or a printed note for members who prefer paper. Family receives a weekly digest if a member opts in.
After every class, a single, optional question: was today good? Comments go straight to centre directors and shape next season's programme.
Members and caretakers get one-tap directions to the nearest centre, with low-mobility entrances and bus-stop hints layered onto the map.
A week inside a Nest
Every centre runs around 25 activities a week — these are six of our most-loved. Real classes, no minimum commitment, drop in once or weave them into your week.

Stories from the lounge
“After my Edward passed, my Tuesdays were the loneliest. Now I'm in three clubs — and the watercolour ladies saved me a chair before I even asked.”
“Dad refused 'senior centres' for years. ElderNest doesn't feel like one. He's been three days a week since March and his cardiologist noticed.”
“I run the Friday memoir circle. The booking app means I know how many chairs and how many gluten-free lunches. That's it. That's the magic.”
